Getting Out

Hubby got me out of the house today.  I was pleased about that even though he did let me know that it was a hassle.  I told him to change places with me and he would be more understanding.  My poor child got stuck pushing me around in the wheelchair even though I don’t think he minded.  We went to Best Buy, the bookstore, and video store.

I did make some better choices today.  I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast.  I had leftover pizza for lunch/supper.  I ate at about 4 in the afternoon.  Cereal was at 11.  I didn’t wake up until late.  I ate to many pieces but I enjoyed it and am still within my points.  I did get smart and took a pepsi one with me to Kokomo so I wasn’t tempted to get a pop which has happened to me a couple of times lately.  I’m just as happy with the pepsi one’s.  I need to drink my water.  It’s the hardest thing for me to do when it should be one of the easiest.  The guys ate at Arby’s.  I didn’t because i know what would have happened.  I would have ate the food at Arby’s which is almost all high points and then I would have had the pizza because it was here.  I am getting smarter and learning.  The pizza tasted far better to me.

Drinking water is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
It does help you lose weight.
I am one of those people that used to drink a lot of pop. It was diet pop so didn’t have all the calories but it was still a big problem.
    Then I started drinking water.
Just a couple glasses a day and I had to force myself to do it.
Then in a very short time I found that I was craving it.
Its no problem at all now for me to get in the amount of water I should be drinking.
    Its the drink I prefer.
I never ever thought I would feel that way so believe me if its possible for me its possible for you.

    Best of luck
    Lori

Yes I agree that drinking water is something you got to get into the habit of. I am drinking more and more water all of the time and I love it and there have been times in the past that I drank lots of water and ti was good for me too. I am trying to drink more and more all the time now.

Shelley, I’m proud of the fact you didn’t eat at Arby’s and then eat the pizza ! As for drinking the water I can’t preach at you to much cuz sometimes I don’t drink all my water either ! So kudos for sticking to your points today ! Kimmi

Good job staying in your points. I know you were happy to have the day out. When you are better and able to move, you should have J trade places w/ you and make him go a day with 1 ggod foot and having to use walker. See how he likes it. Hopefully he will not fall on the steps and scare you half to death like you did to me. LOL. Have a great day.

Way to go Shelley!!!! You made wise choices and I know it had to feel good…I hope that you are just as proud of yourself. I too have to force myself to drink the water, I love my soda, but I’m going to work extra hard on the water intake this week! Keep up the great work!
