Therapy Sucks!
Today was the worst day for therapy. I had a different therapist and she really worked my foot and ankle. I would have been okay with the pain. No pain no gain. It was the fact that she kept putting her finger on my incision and pushing in on it. I would tell her and she would move it to only move it back. My MIL took me today and held her hand and squeezed it the whole time. I was about crying. I want my other therapist back. They can’t see my incision because of the wrapping on it. They only take off the ace bandages and splint. It really sucked.
Anyway there isn’t much to report today. Thank you all for your comments on yesterdays long rant. Diet is still going good.

I am sorry your therapist sucks. Is that someone you will have to continue seeing or will you get to return to your other therapist next time…have a good one …

That sounds horrible! Don’t let it get you down though. It will get better! It is over for right now. Make sure you are doing your stretches and stuff as ordered at home too! Be good so you can get back on those feet!
Shelley, sorry therapy was so rough ! It really sounds as if she just didn’t know what she was doing as a therapist! You know some people are smart enough to be a therapist but just not compassionate enough to do it ! I’m just glad your mil was with you ! Your friend , Kimmi
Maybe she’s sick and gets a thrill out of torturing others. How can you be so oblivous to your clients’ pain?
Some people don’t have a clue and have no idea where to get one. Sorry you got one of THOSE!

I’m sorry to hear about your day with the therapist, some people can be rough. Could you request the therapist you normally see? Glad to hear your diet is going well.
