Making Changes

I’ve made some big changes this weekend.  I’ve been eating breakfast.  I’m not a breakfast eater.  I very rarely wake up hungry.  While I’m not eating big, just a bowl of cereal.  I’m eating.  I had a serving of my husbands sweet and crunchy nuts this morning along with my cereal.  I’ve also drank 2 bottles of water yesterday.  I had water on Saturday as well. I can’t stand water.  It’s funny to watch me drink it because I gulp it down fast. LOL!!! 

I never got back out to walk yesterday because it started raining.  I won’t be able to today as well due to rain.  It really sucks because I want to go for a walk.  I was so happy to be able to do it.  It wasn’t much but every little step helps.

    I know. I am the same with water. I hate it….it is like taking medicine for me. Breakfast is important. I bet you that helps your weight loss!!!

    I looked to see where you live because we are having the very same weather! I was a Hoosier for 43 years, until we moved to Louisville to be nearer our DRs. and our hospital…. and taxi cabs. Yes, that water is like medicine, but so necessary. I think of my dewy skin when I drink it. Sure, dream on Marge. Should stop raining tonight. Then you can enjoy your walk. I will be out there spinning away. My son made a new brace for my w/c until the new one arrives. Hug, Marge

    Congrats on the exercising!! It’s gotta feel good to get back on your feet!!

    I’m with you on the water… I have mine with a slice of lemon. I’m also finding it’s harder for me to get all I should be since it got colder out. Now I’m freezing at work, and the last thing I want is water!!

    Keep up the good work, and remember to rest up that foot!!

    Yeh, water! Tis the best cleanse around. And actually just walking in the house, cleaning, making trips from room to room all adds up. When it is cleaning day, it really does seem like an extra workout.

    I do not understand not being hungry in the AM. But great job getting that little meal in. Your metabolism will thank you ;) Incidentally I wake up famished usually, like a bear in the spring…lol

    I’m with you on the water… Kim makes me drink all mine. Try some flavored water or the crystal lite packets you can mix in for flavor. That helps a lot. Also if you live near a mall, take a few laps around, if the weathers too bad. Just an idea. Good Luck!!

    Hey, Shelley! What really got me hooked on water was knowing how it cleanses my body from the inside. I think of how it takes all the toxins and whisks them out with the rest of the waste. I also find it more difficult to take a crap when I don’t drink water! LOL! Everytime I drink it, I think of my organs getting a “wash” and my skin being clear! Watch out for those things and when you start to see the differences, you may become a big fan.
